Yogi Desai on Bapuji

“…Bapuji liked it here so much that he stayed. He came for 3 months, did you know that? He stayed for four and a quarter years. He must have liked it. He loved our love and discipline and all the love that he saw, he kept telling me over and over, he was just very pleased. He at least felt satisfied. He told me at last twotimes, which is a lot for Bapuji to say, “You have done what I wanted to do so that is why I feel satisfied in my life.”
The Guru feels satisfied when disciple does what Guru would like him to do, the service.”

Difficulties are bound to come. If you just sit still your difficulties are around you sleeping still. When you get up (i.e., act) they awake and get in the way. Learn to face them properly.
If there are no difficulties you will never realize your strengths. They bring the inner strength out. Strengths are within us, but come out only when difficulties come. Do not stop with the difficulties. Continue to walk at a regular speed by having faith in god.
Serve with a united heart. By making others happy, you make yourself happy.
