Preserving a Living Legacy

Growing up, I observed my father, Gurudev Shri Amritji, document his time with Swami Kripalu, long before most realized how rare and precious it was. He photographed, recorded, and wrote about their time together, not just for himself but for all of us who would come later. He also encouraged his students to do the same, ensuring these moments were preserved from many perspectives.

Back then, cameras weren’t everywhere like they are today, but my father understood the importance of capturing Bapuji’s presence, teachings, and daily life. Because of his foresight, we now have an extraordinary collection of images, recordings, and writings that continue to inspire seekers today. Watching him do this instilled in me a deep appreciation for the importance of preserving and honoring the lineage, not just as history but as a living presence that continues to guide us.

As the years have gone by, I have continued to collect and care for the writings, photographs, footage, and personal belongings of Swami Kripalu so that these treasures remain available to those who seek them. I have also worked on short films and documentaries to share the story of our lineage, making them available through Amritji.TV and YouTube in hopes that they might offer inspiration and a deeper connection to these teachings.

My father entrusted me with the responsibility of helping to preserve and share this wisdom, ensuring that future generations will always have access to it. This work is not about the past. It is about keeping the grace, guidance, and presence of this lineage alive so that those who seek can continue to receive its light.
