Sanatan Dharma Timeline

Spanning from 5000 B.C. to 1981 A.D., the timeline chronicles the evolution of Sanatan Dharma, the rise and restoration of Kayavarohan, and the lineage of spiritual masters leading to Swami Kripalu’s life, teachings, and impact in India and the U.S.

The timeline traces the evolution of Sanatan Dharma from the early Aryan and Dravidian cultural synthesis to the compilation of the Vedas and the spread of its teachings by sages like Vyasa and Vishvamitra. Key events include the rise of Lord Lakulish, the establishment of the Swami Order by Sage Shankara, and the preservation of Kayavarohan through invasions. In the 20th century, Swami Kripalu’s spiritual journey unfolds, with his initiation, deep sadhana, and eventual connection with Yogi Amrit Desai, leading to the spread of his teachings in the U.S. and the establishment of Kripalu centers.
